Purpose Statement

  • We are seeking a dynamic Sales Business Development Executive to drive strategic growth through partnerships and new product initiatives. This role will play a key part in identifying opportunities, building alliances, and supporting the launch and scale of new products and services that expand the company’s offering and market reach. The ideal candidate must be commercially minded, relationship-driven, and excited about bringing new products to market through partnerships and business development efforts.

Responsibilities

Business Development & Product Expansion:

  • Identify and pursue new business and partnership opportunities that support revenue growth and the launch of new products.
  • Support the development and go-to-market of new products by sourcing partners, distribution channels, and commercial opportunities.

Partnerships & Relationship Management:

  • Source, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with corporates, platforms, and ecosystem players.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders.

Sales Cycle & Deal Execution:

  • Manage the full business development lifecycle, from lead generation and pitching to negotiation, closing, and onboarding.
  • Work closely with Product, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution of partnerships and product rollouts.

Market Research & Opportunity Identification:

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify unmet needs, emerging opportunities, and potential new product ideas.
  • Provide commercial insights to inform product development and prioritisation.

Go-to-Market Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to design and execute go-to-market strategies for new and existing products.
  • Support partnership launches and joint initiatives that drive adoption and revenue.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Track and report on KPIs related to pipeline, revenue, partner performance, and new product impact.
  • Share insights and recommendations to improve business development effectiveness.

Representation & Brand Building:

  • Represent the company at industry events, partner meetings, and networking forums to strengthen market presence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, or Commercial roles within fintech, financial services, technology, or high-growth digital platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience driving partnerships, deals, or integrations across areas such as asset-backed or structured finance, trading platforms, digital assets, payment systems, or embedded financial services.
  • Proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing commercial partnerships or enterprise deals.
  • Experience working on or supporting the launch of new financial or technology-enabled products.
  • Familiarity with payment integrations, APIs, platforms, or ecosystem-based partnerships is a strong advantage.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, transaction flows, and revenue models within digital or regulated environments.
  • Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to execute partnerships effectively.
  • Ability to interpret market trends and translate insights into commercial and partnership opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Purpose Statement

  • Responsible for translating strategy into execution, enforcing performance standards, and driving speed, efficiency, and accountability across all departments. This role anchors the COO’s office and serves as a high-leverage execution engine ensuring CredPal’s priorities across credit, payments, and investments are delivered with discipline, clarity, and measurable impact.

Responsibilities

Strategy Execution & Alignment

  • Cascade company OKRs into departmental and individual execution plans with clear ownership and timelines.
  • Translate executive priorities into actionable roadmaps, milestones, and delivery commitments.
  • Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives including market expansion, product launches, restructuring, and operating model optimization.
  • Identify execution bottlenecks across teams, systems, and processes and drive rapid resolution.
  • Drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Risk, Growth, Finance, and Operations.

Performance Management & Accountability

  • Own executive performance dashboards, KPI tracking, and reporting cadence.
  • Lead structured performance reviews in partnership with HR and leadership.
  • Flag underperformance early and enforce corrective action plans.
  • Conduct operational audits across sales funnels, onboarding workflows, delivery performance, and unit economics.
  • Ensure all teams operate against measurable outcomes, not activity metrics.

Operational Discipline & Excellence

  • Own operating cadence including Weekly Business Reviews, Monthly Management Meetings, leadership stand-ups, and quarterly planning cycles.
  • Standardize workflows, documentation, operating playbooks, and SOPs across the organization.
  • Partner with Finance to monitor spend efficiency, ROI, budget discipline, and operational leverage.
  • Strengthen internal execution processes and delivery discipline across departments.

COO Enablement & Executive Operations

  • Act as a strategic and operational partner to the COO, supporting decision-making, prioritization, and follow-through.
  • Prepare executive briefs, dashboards, decision memos, and leadership updates.
  • Attend meetings on behalf of the COO when required, synthesize outcomes, and drive execution of next steps.
  • Track execution of company-wide initiatives, surface risks early, and remove delivery blockers.
  • Lead high-impact special projects requiring executive oversight and cross-functional coordination.

Cross-Functional Delivery & Culture

  • Drive strong operating rhythms and execution accountability across leadership teams.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, speed, discipline, transparency, and delivery excellence.
  • Ensure strategic initiatives translate into operational results across all business lines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 – 10+ years in Operations Leadership, Chief of Staff, Management Consulting, Strategy & Operations, or high-growth technology environments.
  • Prior experience working directly with founders, CEOs/COOs, or executive leadership teams.
  • Fintech, financial services, or regulated industry experience is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel / Sheets proficiency.
  • Experience building dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar tools.
  • SQL proficiency preferred.
  • Proven track record leading complex, multi-team initiatives with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong project management discipline; Agile / Lean / Six Sigma familiarity preferred.
  • Ability to move seamlessly from strategy to hands-on execution.
  • Strong enforcement mindset balanced with high emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to hold senior leaders accountable without formal authority.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of P&L, unit economics, operating leverage, and growth drivers.
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous, and regulated environments.
