Junior Civil Engineer – Ibadan
Responsibilities:
- Support the supervision of civil construction of buildings, equipment foundations, silos, tanks, utility structures, roads, drains, and landscaping.
- Review and interpret civil and structural drawings, and coordinate with consultants for modifications.
- Support Chief Engineer in the preparation of BOQs, material requirements, and ensure quality control of construction materials (concrete, steel, etc.).
- Monitor contractor performance, labor management, and daily site progress.
- Ensure civil works are completed as per engineering standards and project timelines.
- Maintain site documentation, daily reports, and progress records.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards on site.
- Assist in vendor/contractor evaluation and certification.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years’ experience in civil project execution in process industries
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Knowledge of structural design, RCC, steel structures, foundation works, and industrial buildings.
