Key Responsibilities

  • Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle
  • Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed)
  • Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines
  • Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
  • Test the operation of machines periodically
  • Fix issues that might occur during the shift
  • Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
  • Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
  • Maintain activity logs

Key Requirements

  • OND / Trade Test
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
  • A dynamic and astute goal-getter.

Job Summary

  • Oversee and manage specific production lines during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient operations, quality control, and environmental compliance.
  • Supervise line staff, maintain equipment, and implement safety and environmental protocols.

Key Responsibilities
Line Operations:

  • Manage production lines to meet quality and production targets.
  • Supervise and train line staff to achieve production goals.
  • Monitor and optimize production processes to minimize waste and reduce costs.

Environmental:

  • Implement and maintain environmental management systems (EMS) and procedures on the production line.
  • Monitor and reduce waste, emissions, and energy consumption on the line.
  • Conduct regular environmental inspections and audits on the line.
  • Respond to and investigate environmental incidents on the line.

Safety:

  • Ensure a safe working environment on the production line.
  • Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections.
  • Investigate and address safety incidents on the line.

Maintenance:

  • Monitor maintenance of production line equipment.
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities with the maintenance team.
  • Ensure timely repair and replacement of equipment.

Quality:

  • Ensure quality control measures are in place and effective on the production line.
  • Monitor and address quality issues on the line.

Communication:

  • Communicate with other shifts, management, and departments.
  • Provide shift reports and performance updates.

Key Requirements

  • BSc / B.Engr. / HND/Trade Test
  • Minimum of 7 yrs experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
  • Recycling plant experience
  • Strong Engineering background
  • Ability to work with little or no Supervision
  • A dynamic and astute goal-getter.
