Job Summary

  • Responsible for driving and strategic Government, Institutional & Corporate Sales. lead our B2B and public sector sales initiatives in Nigeria’s dynamic automotive industry.
  • This role requires deep market knowledge, strong networks within government and corporate sectors, and a consultative sales approach to drive fleet and bulk vehicle sales across key segments.

Key Roles / Responsibilities
Strategic Sales & Market Development:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans targeting government parastatals, MDAs, NGOs, multinationals, and large Nigerian corporations.
  • Monitor and respond to tender opportunities, bid processes, and public procurement frameworks.
  • Develop a structured pipeline and close high-value bulk vehicle and fleet supply deals.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate relationships with senior stakeholders in government (federal, state, and local), fleet buyers, and procurement managers in private sector institutions.
  • Act as primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring high service standards and after-sales engagement.
  • Organize product demonstrations, test-drive events, and tailored presentations for key decision-makers.

Team & Cross-functional Coordination:

  • Work with internal stakeholders (logistics, finance, legal, technical, and service teams) to structure deals, resolve challenges, and ensure seamless delivery.
  • Lead or support a small B2B/government sales team to ensure goal alignment and performance.

Reporting & Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate records of all client activities using CRM tools.
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports on sales pipelines, forecasts, and market insights.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian procurement laws, anti-corruption policies, and internal company ethics.

  • Monthly & Quarterly Sales Target Achievement (%)
  • Average Deal Size (₦/contract)
  • New Institutional/Government Accounts Opened (monthly/quarterly)
  • Sales Pipeline Conversion Rate (%)

Method of Application

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and business development for the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) segment solar solution products of KSTAR, along with the UPS systems portfolio.
  • Develop and manage relationships with System Integrators, EPC contractors, and Project Consultants to expand market reach and generate new business opportunities.
  • Map key consultants, contractors, and end-users within the B2B segment, with a strong understanding of project cycles, specifications, and solution-based selling.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and ensure effective market coverage through regular customer visits, presentations, and technical discussions.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through consistent engagement, after-sales coordination, and account management.
  • Identify and pursue new C&I projects and opportunities, managing the sales process from lead generation to order closure.
  • Maintain high mobility for frequent client meetings, partner engagement, and site visits.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications.
  • 5–7 years of B2B sales experience in solar, power backup, electrical, or industrial solutions.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in C&I, channel, or project-based sales environments.
  • Strong experience managing System Integrators, EPCs, or Project Consultants.
  • Solid understanding of the commercial and industrial solar/UPS market and solution selling approach.
  • Proven ability to develop relationships and generate business within the B2B segment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and manage field-based sales activities.
  • Prior experience working with or managing accounts such as JMG, Mekano, Royal Power, Newlord, or Fuani will be an added advantage.
