Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mechanical Designer with a minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in mechanical design and drafting.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, and improving mechanical designs while ensuring functionality, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and assemblies.
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software.
- Review and improve existing mechanical designs for performance and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production teams.
- Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct design calculations, material selection, and tolerance analysis.
- Support prototyping, testing, and product development processes.
- Prepare technical documentation and design reports.
Requirements & Qualifications
- HND / B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Mechanical Designer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA, or similar).
- Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
