The Technical Assistant to the CFO provides analytical, reporting, and strategic support to the Group CFO, enabling focus on capital, risk, funding, and performance.
Key responsibilities include reviewing Group financial statements, management accounts, and performance reports for completeness and accuracy; identifying financial trends, risks, and variances; preparing executive briefing notes; supporting investment appraisals, CAPEX evaluations, and ROI analysis; coordinating preparation of monthly Group performance packs; preparing Board and investor presentations; tracking KPIs across subsidiaries; strengthening reporting templates and dashboards; ensuring data integrity; and liaising with Finance teams across the Group.
The role also supports treasury oversight by monitoring cash position, liquidity forecasts, debt obligations, FX exposure, and loan covenants. It assists with enterprise risk management, maintaining the risk register, and following up on mitigation plans. Additional responsibilities include developing business case models, reviewing financial assumptions for strategic projects, conducting scenario and sensitivity analyses, and assisting with funding documentation and lender requests.
The role coordinates the CFO’s office by tracking finance transformation initiatives, following up on action points from leadership meetings, supporting cross‑subsidiary alignment, and acting as liaison between the CFO and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- ACA/ACCA or actively pursuing CFA
- 5–8 years experience in financial analysis or strategic finance
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
- Experience with Board reporting and executive presentations is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention to detail
- Strong business judgment and ability to manage confidential information
- Ability to summarize complex issues clearly and concisely

The Head of Haulage provides strategic direction, leadership, and oversight for the Haulage Business Unit. The role ensures operational efficiency, profitability, safety compliance, asset optimization, and continuous improvement across all haulage operations.
Responsibilities include developing and executing strategic business plans; aligning haulage operations with Group strategy; providing data‑driven insights; formulating cost‑reduction and operational improvement strategies; and overseeing end‑to‑end haulage operations.
The role implements frameworks to optimize fleet performance, fuel management, route efficiency, and truck turnaround time. It champions automation initiatives and oversees preventive, corrective, and turnaround maintenance programs. Responsibilities also include managing the business unit budget, implementing cost‑optimization initiatives, reducing losses, and establishing fraud‑prevention controls.
The Head of Haulage leads compliance with operational permits, QHSE standards, safety training, and emergency response plans. The role provides leadership and mentorship to managers, drives high performance, updates SOPs and operational policies, manages haulage inventory, and coordinates chartering and 3PL operations.
It also manages stakeholder relationships, represents the unit in leadership meetings, prepares business performance reports, and drives continuous improvement using analytics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred)
- 10–12 years experience in haulage, logistics, or fleet management, including at least 8 years in leadership
- Professional certifications (CILT, CILSCM) required
- Proven experience managing large‑scale fleet operations, especially in oil and gas or downstream
- Strong knowledge of logistics automation, route optimization, and asset management systems
- Strong leadership, analytical, financial management, and decision‑making capability
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence
