Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support M&A, capital raising, valuations, and corporate restructuring transactions
- Prepare investment memos, financial models, pitch books, and board-level presentations

- Manage client relationships and coordinate transaction workstreams
- Support senior bankers in deal origination and execution.
Requirements
- 6–10 years’ experience in investment banking or corporate finance
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills
- Proven track record in executing closed transactions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- ACA, CFA, or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

- Our client is seeking a highly skilled and performance-driven Equity Trader to join its investment team.
- This role is critical to executing equity strategies, optimizing portfolio performance, and ensuring strict regulatory compliance within Nigeria’s capital market framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute equity trades (local and international markets where applicable) in alignment with approved investment mandates and strategies.
- Monitor market trends, price movements, liquidity conditions, and macroeconomic indicators to identify profitable trading opportunities.
- Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and Research Analysts to implement tactical and strategic asset allocation decisions.
- Manage order flow, risk exposure, and transaction costs to maximize returns.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory guidelines set by the Securities and Exchange Commission Nigeria and the Nigerian Exchange Group.
- Maintain accurate trade records, reporting documentation, and audit trails.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with brokers, custodians, and other market counterparties.
Requirements
- 5 – 7 years of hands-on experience as an Equity Trader within a registered and licensed Asset Management Firm (mandatory due to regulatory requirements).
- Strong understanding of Nigerian capital markets, trading systems, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven track record of delivering consistent trading performance.
- Deep analytical capability, risk management expertise, and high attention to detail.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIS, CFA – added advantage).
- High ethical standards, discretion, and regulatory awareness.
