Job Summary

  • Grundtvig International Secondary School requires the services of a resident Facility & Works Officer to join the team responsible for the effective maintenance and management of all school facilities.
  • The officer will supervise junior technical and maintenance staff, oversee construction and renovation projects, ensure compliance with safety standards, and liaise with relevant external contractors and regulatory bodies when required.

Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A good Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ relevant work experience.
  • Sound knowledge of facility management best practices.
  • Computer literacy with good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational, leadership and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to generate relevant maintenance tasks and work with minimal supervision.
  • Proven capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Job Summary

  • Grundtvig International Secondary School seeks to employ a Teaching Assistant Teachers to support teaching and learning in the school.
  • He/she will work with the subject teachers to provide personalised academic support to students who require additional guidance in reading, writing, comprehension, grammar, and oral communication. This role is distinct from remedial classes and focuses on small-group and one-on-one academic support, allowing for closer interaction and improved learning outcomes.
  • The position also involves assisting with classroom instruction, lesson preparation, assessments, and the development of students’ language skills.

Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A good First Degree in English Language, English Education, Linguistics or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years’ relevant teaching or academic support experience (teaching practice inclusive).
  • Strong knowledge of the secondary school English curriculum.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently to learners of varying abilities.
  • Good interpersonal and classroom support skills.
