Key Responsibilities
- Recover overdue loans through outbound calls, SMS, WhatsApp, and physical visits where required.
- Engage defaulting customers to negotiate realistic repayment plans.
- Conduct customer tracing and skip-tracing using fintech tools and field intelligence.
- Update CRM/loan management systems with accurate recovery notes and payment commitments.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly recovery targets.
- Collaborate with credit, risk, and customer service teams to resolve repayment issues.
- Escalate high-risk accounts and support legal recovery when necessary.
- Prepare recovery performance reports and portfolio status updates.
- Ensure all recovery activities comply with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Maintain professionalism and ethical conduct during all customer engagements.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in any discipline.
- 1–3 years’ experience in loan recovery, debt collection, or fintech/microfinance operations is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with digital lending platforms or loan management systems preferred.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and customer engagement skills.
- Ability to work with targets in a fast-paced fintech environment.
- Good knowledge of Lagos routes and field recovery operations.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and mobile recovery tools.
- High integrity, resilience, and results-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities
- Source and onboard eligible loan customers.
- Conduct field verification of applicants’ residence, business, and guarantors.
- Assess creditworthiness and prepare credit reports.
- Support loan disbursement processes.
- Monitor loan usage and ensure compliance with loan terms.
- Track repayments and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Carry out field recovery on delinquent loans when required.
- Maintain accurate repayment and recovery records.
- Educate customers on loan terms and repayment schedules.
- Resolve customer complaints related to loans.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and guarantors.
Education
- B.Sc / HND / OND at the minimum.
- Basic Knowledge in accounting, finance and mathematics
- Minimum 2 – 3 years experience in SME Loan or Merchant Lending
- Previous work Experience or training in sales (Preferred).
