Job Summary
- The successful candidate is to ensure workplace safety, environmental compliance, and employee well-being at the construction site.
- He / She shall be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to regulations.
- This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and overseeing site-wide safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and implement HSE plans
- Conduct risk assessments:
- Ensure regulatory compliance:
- Supervise and train HSE staff:
- Monitor and improve HSE performance:
- Provide guidance and support to site management:
- Manage HSE incidents:
- Report to the General Manager daily Site KPIs
Qualifications
- A relevant engineering degree (Environmental, Civil, Building) and relevant Engineering and Safety certifications; COREN, CORBON, or equivalent.
- 7 – 12 years work experience
Skills:
- Experience in HSE management particularly in a construction or project environment.
- Leadership and communication skills; Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations and industry standards is crucial.
- Ability to analyze data, identify risks, and develop effective solutions.
