JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist inbound: receiving checks, staging, GRN support, put-away confirmation.
- Assist outbound: pick/pack verification, dispatch documentation, loading checks.
- Support bin/location discipline (labelling, correct storage, housekeeping, SOP compliance).
- Support SKU/bin mapping, item master accuracy (SKU names, UOM, locations).
- Participate in daily/weekly cycle counts and periodic stock counts.
- Maintain variance logs (short/over, mispicks, wrong binning, damages, unrecorded movements).
- Produce inventory health insights: aging stock, slow movers, stock-out risk, shrinkage trends.
- Build/maintain simple dashboards and reports for: inbound/outbound volume, turnaround time, picking accuracy, dock-to-stock time, dispatch accuracy.
- Create exception reports (negative stock, duplicate SKUs, unassigned bins, repeated variances).
- Standardize data capture templates (GRN, picking sheets, bin transfers, returns/damages).
- Identify bottlenecks using data; recommend improvements (layout, picking routes, manpower).
- Support SOP updates and quick training guides for receiving, binning, picking verification, cycle counting.
- Assist with bin/location management: ensure items are stored in assigned locations; support location labelling and housekeeping.
- Help enforce SOP compliance for handling, scanning/logging, and documentation to reduce errors and losses.
- Track and update inventory movement logs: receipts, transfers, adjustments, returns, damages, expiries (where applicable).
- Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend improvements using data (e.g., layout, picking routes, manpower allocation).
- Input inventory data into ERP / WMS accurately.
- Other tasks as may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BSc or HND in Supply Chain, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related fields from a reputable institution.
- Must have completed the NYSC program.
- 0-2 years work experience in warehousing, preferably a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel and PPT).
- Exceptional computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Attention to details, and problem solving skills
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities
- Operate forklift safely to load/unload inbound/outbound trucks and containers (20ft/40ft).
- Operate other material handling equipment.
- Execute put-away, replenishment, staging, and dispatch loading as instructed (WMS/scanner/sheets).
- Stack/unstack pallets accurately (floor stacking or racking where applicable) and prevent product damage.
- Support receiving by confirming goods vs waybills/packing lists; report shortages, damages, mislabels immediately.
- Stage outbound shipments by customer/route and support correct loading sequence.
- Perform daily pre-use checks (brakes, horn, lights, forks, hydraulics, tires, battery/fuel, leaks); report faults and stop unsafe equipment.
- Follow all safety rules: speed limits, pedestrian right-of-way, load limits, seatbelt use, safe turning/reversing.
- Maintain housekeeping (5S): keep aisles, bays, and staging areas clean and obstruction-free.
- Participate in cycle counts/stock checks by moving items for counting and ensuring correct location placement.
- Identifying workplace safety hazards.
- Adhering to safety management standards.
- Clean work area and equipment regularly by removing empty pallets.
- Maintain forklift equipment by troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance
- Identify and report faulty pieces of equipment, damages, and safety concerns to the Supervisor immediately.
- Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
- Optimizing loads and warehouse layout to ensure operational efficiency.
- Securing loads to machine before transportation.
- Inspecting for damages to forklift.
- Scheduling forklift for maintenance and repairs.
- Other tasks as may be assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma / SSCE / OND
- Minimum of 3 years work experience.
- Valid forklift certification/license
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Proficiency in operating technical machinery.
- Good physical condition.
- Mathematical aptitude.
- Good organizational skills.
