Sales Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, high-performing Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team.
This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen to drive growth, secure projects, and deliver innovative solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities

Identifying Opportunities: Identify and pursue new opportunities for the company by building strong relationships with decision-makers.
Technical Solution Design: Collaborate with engineering teams to design tailored solutions that meet clients’ needs.
Translating Technical Value: Translate technical features into clear business benefits such as cost savings, ROI, efficiency gains, and sustainability.
Proposal & Presentation: Prepare and deliver technical proposals, and product demonstrations to clients and stakeholders.
Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitors’ activities, and customer challenges to keep company’s offerings competitive.
Strategic Partnerships: Support long-term growth of the company by exploring new markets, forming alliances, and expanding service lines.
Revenue Generation: Negotiate contracts, close deals, and contribute directly to the company’s financial health.
Customer Support: Ensure post-sales technical support by the engineering team and client satisfaction with the delivered solutions.
Brand Representation: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote company visibility.
Research and Build Relationships: Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the clients’ organisations.
Work with the engineering team to develop solutions that meet customer needs.

Requirements

HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in sales or business development within similar industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to understand technical solutions and explain them in business terms.
Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently, with or without supervision and working as a team member.
High-level organizational skills for maintaining sales territory.
Self-confidence to support persuasion and sales efforts.

Job Description
Responsibilities:

Generates timely reports as required by management.
Prepare Financial Analysis and report as at when due.
File tax returns and resolve tax related matters.
Compute payroll and pension remittances
Handles invoices and track payments.
Liaise with the technical team on timely submission of invoices for completed work done or required advanced payment/milestone invoice.
Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders
Preparing budget forecast.
Periodical review of templates for project estimations to optimize profitability.
Manages the stock and the store.
Liaise with third party consultants on tax related matters.
Handles all levies, dues, etc. for the company.
Maintains healthy cashflow for the company.
Prepare projects accounts.
Communicate effectively with project team on budgets and disbursements.
Cooperate and communicate effectively with Directors and CEO ensure timely and effective delivery of projects.
Perform any other roles assigned by the MD/CEO.

Qualifications

Interested candidates should possess a HND / Bachelor`s Degree in Accounting or related fields with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
