Plumber – Water Supply (Level 2)

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, test, commission, and maintain water supply piping systems (PPR, PVC, HDPE, GI, Copper, etc.).
  • Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications to execute installations accurately.
  • Install sanitary fixtures, valves, pumps, storage tanks, heaters, and associated fittings.
  • Detect and repair leaks, blockages, and system faults efficiently.
  • Carry out pressure testing and ensure systems meet quality and safety standards.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on water supply systems.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company procedures on site.
  • Maintain proper use and care of tools and equipment.
  • Prepare basic job reports and communicate progress to supervisors.
  • Support and guide junior plumbers (L1) when required.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Trade Test / Technical Certificate in Plumbing or related field.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years hands-on experience in water supply plumbing.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing materials, fittings, and installation techniques.
  • Ability to read basic construction and MEP drawings.
  • Good understanding of safety practices on construction sites.
  • Physically fit and able to work in site environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
