JOB SUMMARY:
- TO supervise and coordinate the work Of farm attendants and ensure farm activities are carried out efficiently in compliance with established standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily operations Of poultry production, including feeding, drinkers and health management
- Conduct regular inspections Of poultry housing facilities to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance.
- Ensure proper housing conditions and manage the environment to optimize growth and productivity.
- Track and analyze production metrics such as feed conversion ratios and egg production performance.
- Implement and enforce biosecurity measures to prevent the spread Of diseases.
- Monitor and analyze poultry health, including early detection and reporting to the Veterinarian.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations relating to poultry production and animal welfare.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- HND or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field.
- Proven experience in farm management and coordination.
- 3-5 years of proven work experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Knowledge of modern poultry practice
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in data entry.

JOB SUMMARY
- The Hatchery Quality Assurance Officer ensures compliance with quality, biosecurity, and operational standards across hatchery operations by monitoring critical control points, identifying risks, and driving corrective actions to deliver high-quality day-old chicks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To conduct routine biosecurity audits across hatchery facilities to ensure strict compliance with established protocols
- To assess and validate incoming egg quality from breeder farms to meet production standards
- To enforce First-ln-First-Out (FIFO) inventory practices to maintain optimal stock rotation and traceability
- To oversee hatchery sanitation and hygiene standards to support disease prevention and operational efficiency
- To monitor and regulate critical environmental parameters including temperature, humidity, and ventilation across setters, hatchers, and cold rooms
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (Sops) across all hatchery operations
- Identify, document, and promptly escalate quality deviations or non-conformities to the QA Manager
REQUIRED SKILLS& QUALIFICATIONS
- BSc. (HND in Animal Sciences/Production or related courses
- 5-7 years of working experience in hatchery operations, biosecurity standards, and quality control systems
- Excellent communication skills (including written and oral)
- Attention to details
- Strong problem solving & analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge Of Microsoft office.
