JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a qualified, detail-oriented, and dependable Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy operations and ensure accurate medication dispensing.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in filling prescriptions and dispensing medication accurately.
- Receive, store, and manage pharmaceutical stock.
- Ensure accurate labeling and packaging of prescriptions.
- Update patient records and inventory systems.
- Monitor drug usage and stock levels.
- Provide necessary information to patients regarding medication use.
- Ensure the pharmacy workspace is clean and well-organised.
- Comply with hospital rules and pharmaceutical standards.
Requirements:
- OND/HND in Pharmacy Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a pharmacy or hospital setting.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to take instructions and execute them efficiently.
- Respect for workplace structure, teamwork, and professional conduct.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A well-rounded approach to work; being good at your job is important, but so is reliability, cooperation, and accountability.
- Must be computer literate and able to use digital systems confidently.
- A valid Pharmacy Technician license must be readily available.
- Must reside in Benin city. Applications from other locations will not be considered.
