- An Interior Design Architect is responsible for designing and executing interior spaces that are functional, structurally sound, and aesthetically appealing.
- The role combines architectural knowledge with interior design expertise to create cohesive and practical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop concept designs, mood boards, and space planning layouts.
- Produce detailed architectural drawings (plans, sections, elevations).
- Modify and design interior structural elements (walls, ceilings, partitions).
- Select and specify materials, finishes, lighting, and fixtures.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
- Conduct site inspections and supervise project execution.
- Prepare presentations and design proposals for clients.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or Interior Design.
Strong proficiency in:
- AutoCAD / Revit
- SketchUp / Vray
- 3Ds Max
- Corona.
