Instrumentation Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Execute FEED and Detailed engineering for Instrumentation, Control, and Automation systems.
- Develop instrumentation design philosophies, specifications, and datasheets.
- Select, size, and specify field instruments such as flow, pressure, temperature, and level devices.
- Prepare instrument index, hook-up drawings, wiring and termination drawings, Instrument loop drawings, and installation details.
- Design of Fire and Gas systems
- Prepare Instrument MTO
- Design and specify control systems, including DCS, PLC,SCADA, and ICSS architectures.
- Develop control narratives, cause & effect matrices, and logic diagrams.
- Contribute to the development and review of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Ensure proper tagging, control philosophy alignment, and instrument integration
- Support site installations, Loop checking and Commissioning activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 4—8 years experience in instrumentation design engineering.
