Infrastructure and Logistics Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Infrastructure & Logistics Manager to lead and optimize its logistics, distribution, and infrastructure operations across Nigeria and international markets. This role is critical to ensuring efficient movement of goods, regulatory compliance, cost optimization, and continuous improvement across logistics and supply chain activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all logistics, distribution, and transportation operations across multiple locations.
  • Oversee onboarding, performance management, and contract negotiations with delivery partners, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery of goods in compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all logistics, transportation, and infrastructure matters.
  • Manage import and export processes, including customs documentation, tariff classification, and clearance.
  • Liaise with customs authorities, clearing agents, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve logistics processes, shipping guidelines, and transport standards.
  • Monitor logistics costs, identify savings opportunities, and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate logistics, customs, and regulatory records for audits and reviews.
  • Prepare monthly reports on logistics performance, transportation activities, and costs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, QHSE, and company policies across all operations.
  • Build internal capacity through training and continuous knowledge development.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 16 years post-graduation experience, with at least 10 years in infrastructure and logistics management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
  • Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, fleet and facility management, procurement, and supply chain planning.
  • Proven experience managing import/export compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CILT, COREN, NSE, or IFMA are an advantage.
