HVAC Engineer
Summary
To provide technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for HVAC and refrigeration systems, with core expertise in chillers, VRF/VRV systems, and industrial/commercial refrigeration units. The role ensures optimal system performance, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, commissioning, and servicing of HVAC systems including:
- Air-cooled and water-cooled chillers
- VRF/VRV systems
- Split and packaged air conditioning units
- Cold rooms and refrigeration systems
- Diagnose faults and perform corrective and preventive maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Execute routine service schedules and ensure timely completion of maintenance contracts (AMCs/SLAs).
- Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals for accurate troubleshooting and repairs.
- Conduct performance testing, system balancing, and efficiency optimization of installed systems.
- Ensure proper refrigerant handling, leak detection, and compliance with environmental standards.
- Provide technical support to clients and internal teams, including training on system operations where required.
- Prepare detailed service reports, fault logs, and documentation after each assignment.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, including safe handling of tools, equipment, and refrigerants.
- Support in spare parts identification, requisition, and inventory control.
- Liaise with OEMs and technical partners where advanced troubleshooting is required.
