Human Resources Officer
- We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will support key HR functions including recruitment, training and development, performance management, and employee engagement.
- This role is ideal for someone who understands the fast-paced nature of retail or QSR operations and can balance structure with speed.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process
- Source, screen, and shortlist candidates
- Coordinate interviews with department heads
- Prepare offer letters and employment documentation
- Conduct onboarding and induction programs
- Maintain accurate employee records
Training & Development
- Identify skill gaps across departments
- Coordinate and organize training programs
- Maintain training records and calendars
- Support leadership and supervisory development
Performance Management
- Support performance appraisal processes
- Track KPIs and review documentation
- Assist with performance improvement plans
- Monitor attendance and productivity trends
Employee Engagement
- Support employee engagement initiatives
- Assist in resolving workplace conflicts
- Promote positive workplace culture
- Support employee welfare programs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2 to 4 years HR experience
- Experience in retail, QSR, logistics, or service industry is an advantage
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Good understanding of Nigerian labour laws
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
