Job Summary
The Head of People & Culture is a strategic and operational leader responsible for developing and executing all aspects of the company’s human resources strategy. This role will play a critical role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, and ensuring compliance with all relevant labour laws.
Job Details
Talent Acquisition & Management:
- Lead the recruitment and selection process for all positions, ensuring a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
- Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
- Manage employee performance through performance reviews, goal setting, and development plans.
- Oversee employee training and development programs, including professional development opportunities and leadership training.
- Manage employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, health insurance, and retirement plans.
Culture & Engagement:
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Plan and execute employee engagement activities, such as social events, team-building exercises, and recognition programs.
- Promote employee well-being initiatives, such as stress management programs and mental health support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employees at all levels.
HR Operations & Administration:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Manage employee relations, including investigations and conflict resolution.
- Oversee HR data analysis and reporting.
- Manage the HR budget and resources effectively.
Strategic Planning & Development:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Conduct regular HR audits and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and trends in human resources.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing HR team.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field will be an added advantage
- 7+ years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies.
- Strong understanding of labour laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employees and stakeholders.
- Experience with onboarding HRIS systems and HR technology.
