JOB DESCRIPTION – Head of Operations
- As the Founder/CEO moves into a non-executive/visionary capacity, the Head of Operations will serve as the most senior executive leader within the organization. You will be responsible for the total operational health, financial performance, and strategic expansion of the business.
- You will lead the immediate restructuring of the organization and the successful rollout of the 2026 brand evolution. You are responsible for ensuring this transition is seamless, profitable, and culturally aligned with our vision.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Vision Execution
- Total Oversight: Lead the daily administrative and operational functions of the entire company, including Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
- Business Growth: Implement and execute high-level business strategies and procedures developed in alignment with the CEO’s vision.
- Scale & Expansion: Identify and design strategies for fundraising, market expansion, and new manufacturing opportunities.
Operational Excellence & Performance
- Data-Driven Management: Evaluate performance by interpreting complex data metrics to ensure the company meets its KPIs.
- Policy Innovation: Establish and refine policies that promote a high-performance company culture and protect our “excellence-first” vision.
- Reporting: Act as the primary bridge to the CEO, providing high-level reports on all matters of organizational importance.
People & Culture
- High-Performance Teams: Manage, mentor, and inspire employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
- Stakeholder Relations: Manage and deepen relationships with staff, partners, and vendors to ensure a seamless supply chain and brand experience.
- Customer Advocacy: Oversee the team’s resolution of customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring the premium brand reputation is maintained.
Strategy, Restructuring & Fundraising
- Strategy Execution: Implement and execute business strategies, plans, and procedures developed by the top management team.
- Change Management: Lead the Q1 2026 organizational restructuring to improve operational efficiency.
- Fundraising: Design and oversee strategies for fundraising opportunities to fuel manufacturing expansion.
- Executive Reporting: Develop and oversee high-level reporting to the CEO on all matters of strategic importance.
Operational Excellence & P&L Oversight
- Departmental Management: Oversee the work in Sales, Marketing, and the Finance department.
- Data Analysis: Evaluate and manage company performance by analyzing and interpreting key data metrics.
- Relationship Management: Manage high-level relationships with staff, partners, and vendors to ensure a lean and effective supply chain.
- Customer Advocacy: Work with the team to address and solve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely, premium manner.
- Efficiency: Manage relationship with staff, partners, and vendors to ensure a lean and efficient supply chain.
- Client Success: Work with the team to solve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely, premium manner.
Leadership & Culture
- Performance Leadership: Manage and mentor employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication to the company’s new direction.
- Policy Development: Establish and refine policies that promote the company’s vision and evolving culture.
- General Management: Oversee duties related to finance, leadership, and general management roles as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 5–10 years of senior leadership experience preferably within the FMCG, manufacturing, or confectionery sectors
- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field; an MBA is a significant plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience working with managerial tools, project management software, and dashboards (e.g., Google Suite, ERPs).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional decision-making, resourceful problem-solving, and the ability to lead diverse teams under pressure
- Leadership: Excellent communication, strong leadership, and resourceful problem-solving skills.
- Judgment: Excellent decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.
