Gift Shop Associate
Job Summary
- We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Gift Shop Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers in selecting gifts, handle in-store operations, support gift packaging and displays, and ensure every customer leaves with a delightful experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Assist customers in choosing suitable gifts based on their needs, budget, and occasion
- Handle sales transactions (POS, transfers, receipts)
- Package and wrap gifts neatly and creatively
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and attractive product displays
- Restock shelves and manage inventory records
- Handle customer inquiries in-store, via phone, and on social media
- Support surprise setups, deliveries, and occasional event preparations
- Track daily sales and report to the store manager
- Ensure proper handling of fragile and valuable items
- Uphold the brand’s image and service standards
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE / OND
- Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience is an advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, patient, and professional attitude
- Attention to detail and creativity (especially for gift packaging)
- Basic computer and smartphone skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Trustworthy and responsible
- Must live around Apo & Evirons
- Salary – 70,000 ( Sales bonus and commission available)
