Geography Teacher
Role Description
- This is a full-time role for a Geography Teacher located in Eko Atlantic City, Lagos – for Rugby School Nigeria.
- The Geography Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons on geographical concepts.
- Key responsibilities include planning lesson content, delivering lectures, leading classroom discussions, assessing student progress, and providing feedback and support.
- The role also entails fostering a positive and interactive learning environment while adhering to the school’s educational standards. Teaching both GCSE and A Level students
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher status and relevant certifications
- Proficiency in Geography and a strong understanding of subject matter
- Skills in Lesson Planning and Education delivery
- Demonstrated ability and experience in Teaching and mentoring students
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Geography, or a related field
- Masters in Geography or Humanities based subject
- Previous experience in international education is an added advantage
