Full Stack Team Lead
Role Overview
- We’re looking for a hands-on Full Stack Team Lead with strong experience building banking or fintech platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep backend and frontend expertise, experience leading developers, and a solid understanding of financial systems and secure application architecture.
- You will play a key role in designing and scaling BellBank’s digital banking infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of full-stack engineers.
- Architect and build scalable banking and fintech applications.
- Develop backend services using Node.js, Java, or Kotlin.
- Build modern frontend interfaces using React / Next.js.
- Oversee system architecture, code quality, and engineering standards.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Work with AWS infrastructure to deploy and scale applications.
- Monitor system health using Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
- Collaborate with product, compliance, and operations teams.
- Ensure strong security practices and financial data protection.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working in banking, fintech, or financial systems.
- Proven experience leading or mentoring software developers.
- Strong full stack development experience with Node.js and Java/Kotlin.
- Experience building frontend applications using React or Next.js.
- Experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and scalable systems.
- Experience integrating payment systems or core banking platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with microfinance platforms or digital banking systems.
- Experience with containerization (Docker / Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of high-availability financial systems and distributed architectures.
- Experience managing remote engineering teams.
