FTTH Project Site Engineer
Responsibilities
- Supervise on-site construction activities, including fiber cable laying, splicing, splitter/cabinet installation, and equipment setup.
- Ensure project quality, safety, and progress meet design and standard requirements.
- Coordinate subcontractor work plans, materials, and manpower to achieve timely delivery.
- Conduct site inspections, prepare daily/weekly progress and quality reports.
- Support troubleshooting, technical guidance, and corrective actions for on-site issues.
- Implement and monitor EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) compliance at all sites.
- Manage and organize construction documents for project acceptance and audit.
Qualifications
- Diploma or above in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related fields.
- Minimum 1 year of telecom field experience, preferably in FTTH/FTTX projects.
- Solid understanding of ODN network structure, fiber splicing/testing, and construction standards.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work under pressure and travel frequently for on-site work.
- EHS or telecom vendor certification (Huawei, ZTE, FiberHome, etc.) is an advantage.
