Job Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial operations within a
• regulated digital asset environment. The role is responsible for financial reporting, treasury oversight, regulatory compliance support, and internal control management across fiat and digital asset activities.
• The ideal candidate will combine strong technical accounting expertise with the ability to

manage financial risks associated with cryptocurrency operations, regulatory requirements,
and high-volume transaction environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Accounting

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordancewith IFRS.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies for digital asset transactions, including valuation, recognition, and impairment.
• Maintain financial records for:
• – Digital asset holdings- Trading and exchange activities- Wallet balances and custodial accounts- Revenue streams (fees, spreads, staking, etc.)
• Coordinate and manage external audit processes.
• Ensure completeness and integrity of the general ledger.

Treasury & Liquidity Management

• Oversee management of fiat and digital asset treasury positions.
• Monitor liquidity across exchanges, custodians, and banking partners.
• Implement controls over digital asset movements and reconciliations.
• Manage conversion between fiat and cryptocurrencies.
• Monitor counterparty exposure to exchanges and financial institutions.

Regulatory & Compliance Support

• Support compliance with financial reporting and regulatory requirements applicable to digital asset operations in Nigeria.
• Coordinate financial submissions required by regulators, such as:
• – Central Bank of Nigeria- Securities and Exchange Commission Nigeria
• Support AML/CFT financial reporting obligations.
• Ensure financial records are audit-ready and regulator-ready.

Internal Controls & Risk Management

• Design and maintain internal control frameworks for digital asset transactions.
• Reconcile blockchain transaction data with internal financial records.
• Establish processes for safeguarding digital and fiat assets.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails for all financial activities.
• Support enterprise risk management initiatives.

Budgeting, Planning & Analysis

• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide financial performance analysis and variance reporting.
• Support strategic decision-making with financial insights

Operational Finance Leadership

• Manage finance operations and supervise finance staff where applicable.
• Implement finance systems suitable for high-volume transaction environments.
• Support investor reporting and due diligence processes.
• Collaborate with operations, compliance, technology teams, and other departments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or treasury operations.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Experience with digital assets, blockchain accounting, or crypto treasury management is a plus.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements in Nigeria (e.g., CBN, SEC) is preferred.
• Proven ability to design internal controls and manage risk in financial operations.
• Experience leading finance teams and implementing finance systems in high-volume transaction environments.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CFA) are a plus.
