Fleet / Logistics Officer
Job Summary
- We are seeking a responsible and experienced Fleet / Logistics Officer to manage truck operations and coordinate drivers for efficient and safe delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate truck drivers and daily fleet operations.
- Plan routes and schedule truck movements to meet delivery timelines.
- Monitor driver attendance, conduct, and compliance with company policies.
- Ensure trucks are roadworthy, properly licensed, insured, and maintained.
- Track fuel usage, mileage, and vehicle running costs.
- Monitor GPS tracking systems and driver performance.
- Enforce safety standards and compliance with road regulations.
- Prepare daily and monthly fleet/logistics reports.
- Handle breakdowns, incidents, and accident reports.
Requirements
- OND / HND / B.Sc. in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years’ experience in fleet or logistics operations (truck-focused).
- Proven experience supervising truck drivers.
- Good knowledge of Lagos road networks.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
- Computer literacy (Excel and basic fleet systems).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Candidates must reside in or around Amuwo-Odofin / Apapa / Mile 2 axis.
