About the Role
- The ideal candidate should be ICAN certified with a strong understanding of accounting principles and a passion for driving financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures.
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- ICAN membership is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
