Farm Venture Executive
Job Summary
- The Farm Venture Executive will be responsible for managing internal and external farm-related commercial activities within the farm park.
- This includes coordinating sales of farm produce and consumables, monitoring inventory inflow and outflow, ensuring proper record-keeping, and supporting efficient distribution of goods to farm workers and students.
- The role is critical to revenue assurance, stock control, and operational transparency within the farm park.
Key Responsibilities
Farm Sales & Revenue Management:
- Coordinate the sale of farm produce, consumables, and related items within the farm park.
- Support external sales of farm produce where applicable and ensure proper documentation.
- Ensure accurate pricing, invoicing, and daily sales reporting.
- Monitor revenue inflows and ensure timely remittance in line with company policy.
Inventory & Stock Control:
- Track inflow and outflow of farm goods, materials, consumables, and produce.
- Maintain accurate stock records for farm inputs, consumables, and harvested produce.
- Conduct routine stock checks and reconcile physical stock with records.
- Flag shortages, excesses, or losses promptly to farm management.
Operational Support:
- Liaise with farm workers, supervisors, and students to ensure timely access to approved consumables.
- Support smooth distribution of farm resources while preventing wastage and misuse.
- Work closely with the Farm Manager and Operations team to improve efficiency.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain clear daily, weekly, and monthly records of sales and inventory movements.
- Prepare simple operational and financial summaries for management review.
- Ensure all transactions are properly documented for audit and accountability purposes.
Compliance & Controls:
- Adhere strictly to company policies on stock management, cash handling, and reporting.
- Support internal controls to prevent pilferage, misuse, or misappropriation of farm resources.
- Maintain professionalism, transparency, and integrity at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc. in Agriculture, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in farm operations, inventory management, sales, or storekeeping is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of stock control, sales tracking, and record management.
- Ability to work within a farm settlement or park environment.
