Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow a high-performing engineering team building scalable, data-driven financial technology products for emerging markets. The role combines people leadership, hands-on technical contribution, and strategic ownership of product and platform initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers in a collaborative, distributed environment.
- Balance engineering excellence with fast delivery and continuous iteration.
- Define and execute long-term technical strategy while addressing current product needs.
- Act as a hands-on technical contributor and coach when needed.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to set direction and drive impact.
Requirements
- 3+ years of engineering management experience in a tech or high-growth product environment.
- 5+ years of prior experience as a software engineer.
- Experience managing performance reviews and delivery timelines.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Passion for mentorship, team growth, and building inclusive engineering culture.
