Early Childhood Educator
Job Description:
- LEMA/EIS is seeking Early Childhood Teachers to join our team. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for our young learners.
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, engaging children in educational activities, and promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- The position will require effective communication with parents and collaborating with fellow teachers to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to children
- Observe, assess, and document each child’s progress and development
- Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on their child’s academic and social growth
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to plan and execute educational events and programs
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field NCE, BSc
- Valid teaching certification/license (TRCN)
- Previous experience working with young children in a teaching capacity
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Ability to design and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with young children
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms and technologies
