Driver
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Transportation: Drive company vehicles to pick up/drop off staff, clients, or materials securely and on time.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections (oil, tires, fluids), ensure the vehicle is fueled, and arrange repairs.
- Route Planning: Utilize GPS and local traffic knowledge to plan efficient routes, avoiding traffic, construction, and weather delays.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records, including mileage, fuel consumption, and travel logs.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, passengers, and vendors.
- Loading/Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading cargo or luggage.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess an HND / FSLC with 2-5 years experience.
- License & Records: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Proven experience as a driver, often with professional or commercial driving background.
- Education: Typically a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills: Strong time management, navigational skills, and basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and handle cargo as needed.
- Must reside around Gwarimpa, Abuja
Working Conditions:
- Flexibility: May require working early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
- Representation: Must maintain a clean, professional appearance and demeanor to represent the company positively
