Direct Sales Agent (DSA)
About the Role
- We are looking to expand its nationwide sales network.
- The Direct Sales Agent (DSA) will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, activation, and transaction volume (TPV) within assigned territories.
- The role focuses on generating real usage, repeat transactions, and revenue growth, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and representing the company’s brand effectively.
- This is a field-based, performance-driven role within a structured, high-performance sales network.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition & Activation:
- Identify, engage, and onboard new customers in assigned locations and communities
- Drive the end-to-end customer journey: awareness → onboarding → activation → repeat usage
- Support customers in completing first transactions and ongoing usage
- Leverage local networks to increase product visibility and adoption
Revenue & Transaction Growth (TPV):
- Drive consistent transaction volume and revenue generation
- Focus on quality sign-ups that convert into active users
- Contribute to overall funnel growth and conversion efficiency
Sales Performance Execution & Conversion Excellence:
- Deliver structured and consistent sales pitches
- Identify high-value prospects and prioritize conversion opportunities
- Apply objection handling and closing techniques effectively
- Execute daily field sales activities including prospecting, follow-ups, and community outreach
Product Knowledge, Customer Education & Support:
- Develop a strong understanding of company products (payments, virtual cards, everyday use cases)
- Educate customers on product features, value propositions, and onboarding steps
- Complete all structured onboarding training, including asynchronous modules, live sessions, quizzes, and post-training reinforcement
Reporting, Compliance & Professional Conduct:
- Track and report leads, onboarding, activation, and transaction activities accurately
- Submit timely daily/weekly reports
- Comply with AML, KYC, fraud prevention, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain professionalism and brand representation
- Meet performance standards; continued engagement depends on results
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum OND / HND / BSc in any discipline (higher qualifications are an advantage)
- 1–3 years of sales experience (fintech, FMCG, telecoms, or field sales preferred)
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales and/or revenue targets
- Experience in customer onboarding and activation is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Basic understanding of financial services is a plus
- Ability to work independently in a target-driven, field-based environment
