Delivery Driver
Job Summary
- We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to support our distribution operations in Abuja (FCT)
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate delivery of goods, strict adherence to safety and quality standards, and physical support to the sales team during product handling
- Experience in cold chain logistics is required to ensure temperature-sensitive products are properly managed.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate assigned delivery vehicles within Abuja and surrounding areas
- Ensure timely delivery of products according to assigned schedules
- Handle cold chain products, maintaining required temperature control at all times
- Load, offload, and arrange products carefully to prevent damage
- Assist the sales team with the lifting and movement of products as required
- Conduct daily vehicle and cold chain equipment checks
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and proof of delivery
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, company policies, and health & safety standards
- Report vehicle faults, delivery issues, or delays promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification
- Valid Nigerian driver’s license
- Proven experience as a delivery driver
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg
- Good knowledge of Abuja roads and delivery routes
- Ability to read delivery documents and use basic tracking tools.
