Credit Officer (Boluwaji, Ibadan)
Company & Job Overview:
A fast-expanding microcredit firm dedicated to assisting market vendors, skilled craftsmen, small business owners in obtaining equitable and ethical loans is seeking enthusiastic, sociable team members who thrive in outdoor settings and appreciate direct interactions with customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify and onboard new borrowers from local markets, residential areas, and communities
- Conduct on-site visits to assess loan applications (including business evaluations, cash flow reviews, and character assessments)
- Develop credit proposals for review and approval
- Issue funds for sanctioned loans
- Monitor and gather repayments on a daily or weekly basis
- Promptly address any overdue payments
- Ensure high portfolio standards (minimal delinquencies / low Portfolio at Risk)
- Uphold precise and well-organized client documentation

Qualifications We’re Seeking:
- At least an OND or NCE certification
- 0–2 years of background in microfinance, financial services, collections in the field, or sales is beneficial (though not required)
- Must be prepared and capable of performing the majority of work outdoors (field-based)
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Trustworthy, dependable, and self-motivated
- Available to begin employment right away
