Consultancy Service to Implement Livelihood Empowerment Component
- The service to be delivered is detailed in the attached schedule.
- The services will be delivered over a maximum of 60 days
- The Consultant will provide skills development and economic empowerment support to beneficiaries in 4 LGAs/communities across the 3 program States.
- Sokoto : Tangaza (Gidan Madi); Gwadabawa; Dange Shuni (Shuni) and Bodinga (Sifawa).
- Katsina : Kurfi; Dutsinma; Batagarawa and charanchi
- Zamfara : Mada (Gusau LGA); Hayin Kotorkoshi (Bungudu LGA); Yandoton Daji (Tsafe LGA); and Sarkin Mafara Sarkin Baura (Kaura Namoda LGA)
Terms of Reference / Specifications
The planned support will take the form of technical and practical skills training aimed at developing the capacity of participants to engage in the local Financial Market. The objective of this project is promote community led early warning for violence and conflict as well as promote peace and reconciliation through dialogue and various engagements. This livelihood component seeks to build a pool of skilled beneficiaries (selected community members) who are able to generate income for themselves and their, and build their resilience sustain families, and resist recruitment into organized crimes and violent extremist groups and banditry. The successful Consultant must demonstrate a methodology for measuring the impact of the project as well as a sustainability plan.
