KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Warmly welcome patients, visitors, and families to the hospital.
- Manage patient registration, update records, and verify necessary documentation.
- Handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and direct enquiries appropriately.
- Coordinate patient flow by guiding them to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information at all times.
- Manage the reception area to ensure it is clean, organized, and patient‑friendly.
- Assist patients with filling forms, understanding procedures, and basic information.
- Receive and sort mail, deliveries, and internal communication.
- Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and administrative staff for seamless service delivery.
- Adhere to hospital policies, customer service standards, and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2–3 years experience as a front desk officer, preferably in a hospital or healthcare facility.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with patients.
- Knowledge of hospital processes, patient registration, or HMO procedures is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer operations.
- Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Neat appearance, empathy, and strong customer service orientation.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS/MBChB) from a recognized institution.
- Valid license to practice from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Minimum of 2–3 years clinical experience (post-NYSC experience).
- Strong clinical reasoning, diagnostic, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage medical emergencies.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems is an added advantage.
