Biology Teacher
Job Summary
Greenland Hall is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Biology Teacher to deliver effective instruction and support learners’ understanding of biological sciences in line with the school’s curriculum and academic standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons aligned with the approved curriculum.
- Conduct practical laboratory sessions safely and effectively.
- Assess, record, and report learners’ academic progress accurately.
- Prepare learners for internal and external examinations.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and well-managed learning environment.
- Support learners of varying abilities through appropriate teaching strategies.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school activities.
- Adhere to school policies, safeguarding guidelines, and professional ethics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Education, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching qualification and classroom experience.
- Good laboratory management and safety awareness.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
