The key purpose of this role is to monitor and control the utility process, operates utilities plant and equipment, and perform autonomous maintenance.

Key roles and responsibilities:

• Plan and Prepare the Job
• Stop the machine/process if it appears to endanger safety and quality of the processed product. If the stoppage is longer than 10 minutes, the Instrument Artisan must inform the Team Leader of the problem
• Maintain the equipment according to good maintenance
• Maintain housekeeping standards in his area of operation
• Operate plant and process equipment
• Maintain a safe and healthy working environment

Profile:

• Min- B.Sc./HND or its equivalent degree in a relevant area of study such as Mech/Elect or Electromechanical
• 1 – 2 years experience in similar role will be an added advantage
• Problem solving skills
• Great attention to details
• Good understanding of modern maintenance practices
• Good communication skills
