Accountant
JOB SUMMARY
The Accountant will oversee the financial operations of the restaurant/nightclub, ensuring accurate financial reporting, proper cash management, regulatory compliance, and effective cost control. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage finances in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–5 years’ accounting experience (hospitality experience is an advantage).
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability of operations.
- Manage cash flow, reconciliations, and banking transactions.
- Oversee inventory accounting and cost control measures.
- Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise financial documentation and record-keeping.
- Support management with financial insights and recommendations.
