Accountant
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements
- Monitor daily revenue from advert sales, sponsorships, and other income streams
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
- Process invoices, payments, and payroll
- Track advert bookings and ensure proper billing and revenue recognition
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Develop and manage budgets for departments and programs
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage
- Minimum of 3–5 years accounting experience (media industry experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
