Account Officer
Job Summary
The Accounting Officer will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor budgets and assist with financial forecasting
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory remittances
- Support internal and external audits
- Manage payroll processing in collaboration with HR
- Maintain proper documentation of financial records
- Assist in implementing financial controls and policies
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 2–4 years accounting experience (healthcare experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
